Camping at a Winter Festival

If you are heading out to spend the weekend at your first winter music festival, you may well want a little advice when it comes to packing. Remember that you will need to bring more than your glowsticks from the glow house in order to ensure that you remain comfortable and happy, and without a few solid guidelines you may find that you miss a few important items.

To begin with, you will need to find yourself a decent tent. Go for something that is both waterproof and stable enough to resist a fairly strong wind. Sleeping under the stars is no fun in the pouring rain, but that is what you will find yourself doing if your tent can't hold up in the wintery conditions.

In addition, you will want to bring warm bedding; a down filled sleeping bag is always a good option. This kind of duvet should keep you warm even when the temperatures take a considerable dip, which they are likely to do if you are heading out in winter.

As well as good quality camping equipment, it is also important that you bring a selection of practical clothing with you as well. Don't be tempted to sacrifice comfort in the interest of style. Your festival experience will not be a good one if you spend the duration shivering with wet feet.

A winter festival can be especially difficult. In order to ensure that you remain warm and dry, it is important that you bring the right camping equipment and a selection of good solid clothing.
